Traitor was your average, run of the mill, terrorist movie. It brought nothing new to the table. The movie is worth seeing if you are bored out of your mind and have nothing better to do and you’ve seen every other movie, but there are plenty of other movies out there to watch.
The cast of Traitor includes Don Cheadle who plays Samir Horn, one of the terrorist in the movie, but is he a good terrorist or a bad terrorist? Also Guy Pearce who plays Roy Clayton, the FBI agent after Samir. Neal McDonough who plays Max Archer, Roy’s partner. Also Jeff Daniels is in the film. He plays Carter and he maybe has 10 minutes of screen time in a 2 hour movie.
The movie is just like every cat and mouse movie, chase the bad guy and catch him, but is he really the bad guy or is he on your side? Been there done that! The funny thing is the writer of the movie is funnyman Steve Martin… maybe Steve should just act in movies, not write them, especially movies he has never really done. Also, the plot twists are not surprising.
Traitor is a skipper. There is no need to really see this movie in theaters, wait for it on DVD, I kind of wish I did. Your boredom should be pretty high if you want to see this movie.
